What does the Startup Program actually include?
Your Startup Program software is free for year one, then discounted up to 70% in year two and 50% in year three on 3DEXPERIENCE Roles or Term Desktop licenses. The IFW (Collaborative Business Innovator) role is required at full price per user in years two and three and isn’t included in the discount.
Who is eligible for the software discount?
The discount is exclusively available to companies that have been officially approved under the SOLIDWORKS Startup Program by Dassault Systèmes. If you’re not sure whether your company qualifies for the Startup Program itself, reach out to your SOLIDWORKS representative or contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Does my whole team need to participate, or can I enroll just a few engineers?
You can enroll as many or as few people as you need. We work with individual engineers, small founding teams, and larger groups alike. Training packages can be customized based on the number of participants.
Is the training remote or in person?
We offer both remote and in-person training. Many Startup Program clients choose remote sessions for flexibility, but in-person training may also be arranged depending on your team’s needs. When you contact us, we’ll help you choose the training format that works best for your team.
How long does the training take?
That depends on your team’s starting point and how much ground you want to cover. A foundational training program typically runs between two and five days. We’ll give you a clear timeline as part of your custom proposal.
Do we need to have our SOLIDWORKS licenses set up before starting training?
Yes, ideally your licenses should be active and installed before training begins so your team can follow along hands-on during every session. If you need help with setup or onboarding, EngineerX can assist with that as well.
What if we need training on advanced topics beyond the basics?
We offer advanced modules covering areas like SOLIDWORKS Simulation, Surfacing, Sheet Metal, Weldments, and PDM. Just let us know what your team needs and we’ll build the right curriculum.
